An old boundary had reached the end of its life, with posts moving in the ground and panels no longer holding a line. The garden behind it was due to be landscaped, so the fence had to go in first.
We cleared the run, took out the old posts and set concrete posts on a straight line, then fitted closeboard between them. Concrete posts cost a little more at the outset and save the rot problem that takes timber posts out first.
The ground behind the new line was cleared and levelled as we went, so the garden was ready for landscaping as soon as we finished.
