A mature tree stood close to a residential property with no route in for a tracked machine and no room to drop timber safely. Taking it down conventionally would have meant working directly over the roofline.
We brought in a mobile crane instead. Each section was cut, held on the crane, then lifted clear of the building before being lowered to a landing area well away from the property.
Working this way keeps the load off the roof and off the ground crew. It also shortens the time the site is disrupted, because sections leave the tree in one controlled movement rather than being roped down piece by piece.
Arisings were processed and removed, and the site was left clear the same day.
